We are currently recruiting for a leading financial organisation, which operates UK wide and is a market leader when it comes to expertise and success.
This Senior Analyst role will involve providing data reporting and analysis to the Risk Reporting and Analysis proposition, meeting the demands of a varied risk strategy and delivering goals.
The following skills are required -
* A range of experience of analysis, analytical tools and problem resolution
* Experience of SAS programming is essential, with the ability to adapt quickly to new data and develop business knowledge of the data
* Ability to identify/understand customer needs and deliver pragmatic solutions to those needs
* Confidence to deal directly with senior management within all areas
* Knowledge of Risk Reporting
* Have demonstrated a proven ability to identify and resolve issues and break down complex problems into their core components and communicate the issues concisely
* Have an understanding and appreciation of the MI requirements of the business and therefore able to bring a business focused approach to the development and presentation of reports and analysis
* Communicates work with customers in a way that maximises their participation/buy-in, resulting in a strong feedback/support for project/task delivery.
* It is essential that the successful candidate has prior experience of large dataset analysis/manipulation using SAS programming.
* Must be competent with the Microsoft Office suite, and have a good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Knowledge of and practical experience of SQL coding is desirable
