Office Angels are currently recruiting on behalf of our client an Operations and Account Executive Administrator. This is a Full Time role, located in South Edinburgh. You would work a 40 hour week, however the client offer flexi time between Mon-Fri. The core hours are 9.30am-4pm and the rest of your hours just need to fit around those times. Salary up circa £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

There is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or an appropriately experienced individual to work for an innovative, world leading company based just outside Edinburgh. The candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate with an aptitude to learn. It is essential the candidate demonstrates evidence of interdisciplinary teamwork and is able to work collaboratively with others to support the efficient operational running of the business. The candidate should be flexible and have the ability to multi-task effectively to meet the demands of different work activities. Good communication, organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary.

General Responsibilities & Duties:

* Update and maintain office databases and offer creative solutions on how to continuously improve and adapt databases as the business grows.
* Excellent telephone manner to deal with and direct calls accordingly.
* Ability to support all colleagues out with the department.
* Meeting organisation and preparation for external visitors.
* Organising and managing procurement systems to support staff.
* Management of the company wide procurement system.
* Management of ongoing supplier accounts.
* General bookkeeping and accounting.
* Responsibility for the entire ordering process and receipt of goods.
* Tracking spend and managing delivery dates.
* Data entry to support the London based COO.
* Support and report to the Operations Team Leader on a day-to-day basis and assist with.
* Continuous customer interaction and support.
* Occasional PA duties to the Managing Director.
* Ad hoc event planning and Marketing and Communications support.
* Responsibility for the management of the office when the Operations Team Leader is off site.

Experience, Skills, Attributes Required:

* A BA (Hons) in Business / Administration / Finance / Communications or a closely related degree or relevant experience in a commercial setting.
* Over qualified candidates will not be considered for this position.
* Demonstrate or have experience in a multi-functional organisational role.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills; oral, written and electronic including experience in using Excel.
* A proven ability to work independently and demonstrate superior time management.
* Full UK driving licence required.
